美術家として活動するミナミリョウヘイの変名『民族M』と『DOBUTSU』名義のスプリット作品。
現象（フェノメノン）というものは、それがどんなに小さなものでも、途切れなく無限に続く鎖の繋ぎ目の一つであり、その鎖は過去から未来へと延び、一つの領域から別の領域へと移行する。ある時には目に見える物理現象という形で現れ、またある時には意識現象という形で視界から消え去る。そして複雑で広大な現象世界には全世界と結びついた、その無限の本質（ヌーメノン）が隠されている。
存在する現象があるということは必ずその源流のような流れの元となる“知性の対象としてだけ考えられる対象”である物自体の本質が潜んでいる。
美術家であるミナミはこの概念に深く興味を持ち、逃れることのできない見えざるヌーメノンと遊泳し、あえて安定しない表象で遊びモノクロで表出した絵画を2024年暮れ頃に制作していた。
同時期に、様々な友人の楽器や機材バグ録音、フィールドレコーディングしたデータなど自発的に生み出した音ではないものに不確定なフローを知覚し、これから起こる無限の現象への移行に絵画と同じような表象遊びを覚えたのが始まりで、それらのデータをカットアップしマイクを重ねたりドローイングのようにシンセを重ねた結果、ビートモノとコラージュモノとして表出し今回の『民族M』『DOBUTSU』ダブル名義のスプリット作品が生まれた。

A phenomenon, no matter how small, is one link in an unbroken and endless chain that extends from the past to the future, transiting from one realm to another.
At times, it appears in the form of visible physical phenomenon, while at others, it disappears from sight as phenomenon of consciousness.
And the vast and complex phenomenal world hides its infinite essence (noumenon), which is connected to the whole world.
The existence of any phenomenon inevitably implies that the essence of the thing-in-itself, the "object that can only be thought of as an object of the intellect," is hidden within the source of the flow of the phenomenon.
The artist Minami was deeply interested in this concept, swimming with the invisible noumenon from which it is impossible to escape, and daring to play with unstable representations, creating monochrome paintings around the end of 2024.
Around the same time, he began to perceive an indeterminate flow in the sound that was not spontaneously produced by recording various friends' instruments and equipment bug and field-recorded data, and he learned to play with representations similar to painting in the transition to the infinite phenomena that would occur in the future. The data was cut up and expressed as beats and collage sounds, and this split work was born.
The idea of layering microphones naturally emerged in the beat sound source, which became the work of "MINZOKU-M," and the collage sound source became the work of "DOBUTSU," the end of a play of layers like organic drawings.
